LUOYANG, China – Luoyang Lutong Heavy‑Duty Machinery Co., Ltd. has launched the LTC203P, a versatile 3‑ton combination road roller built to serve municipal projects, road repair, trench backfilling and compacting work on confined job sites worldwide.
Featuring a front vibratory steel drum plus four smooth rear rubber tires, the LTC203P combines two core compaction functions in one single unit, removing the need to deploy separate steel‑wheel and pneumatic‑tire rollers on‑site. The front steel drum delivers 30 kN centrifugal force at 50 Hz vibration frequency for solid base compaction, while rear rubber tires provide kneading action to seal asphalt surfaces, improve surface density and reduce pavement cracks for long‑lasting road quality.
The machine adopts full‑hydraulic dual‑wheel drive and hydraulic front‑drum vibration, paired with articulated hydraulic steering for flexible handling in narrow working zones. With operating mass of 3000 kg, maximum travel speed up to 12 km/h and gradeability reaching 32 %, it maintains stable performance even on sloped ground. Both front and rear units are fitted with scraper and intermittent water‑spray systems to prevent material sticking during asphalt operations.
Powered by reliable ZN390B diesel engine, the LTC203P achieves balanced power output and low fuel consumption, with simple access points to simplify daily maintenance. Operator comfort is enhanced by premium shock‑absorbing seat, lowering fatigue during long‑hour continuous shifts. Compact overall dimension enables easy transport and deployment for urban renewal, sidewalk construction, parking lot and sports‑ground compaction tasks.
