Different from conventional double-steel-drum rollers, the LTC206P adopts a classic combined layout: front steel vibratory drum plus rear rubber tires. The front drum provides powerful vibration force to compact base layers and asphalt mixtures, while the rear rubber tyres offer kneading compaction, which effectively seals tiny surface cracks, improves pavement density and delivers a smooth, waterproof asphalt finish. This dual-compaction feature makes it highly favoured by road builders for fine finishing of asphalt surfaces.
Powered by a reliable 36.8 kW diesel engine compliant with China Stage IV emission standards, the LTC206P is equipped with a full-hydraulic drive system, supporting stepless speed regulation from 0 to 12 km/h. With articulated steering and a compact frame design, it achieves flexible turning and adapts well to narrow job sites, parking lots, sidewalks and residential road projects. It also features strong gradeability, stable performance on sloped construction sections, and an independent water sprinkling system to prevent asphalt adhesion on the drum surface.
The operator station follows an ergonomic layout with intuitive single-lever control, low noise and good all-around visibility. The wide-opening engine hood simplifies daily inspection and maintenance, cutting equipment downtime. Built with heavy-duty structural parts, the LTC206P runs steadily under long-hour continuous operation and has obtained CE certification for global export.
