The LTD718H road roller adopts a mature full hydraulic dual-drive design, which stands out from traditional mechanical drive rollers in terms of driving stability and operating flexibility. The full hydraulic dual-drive system realizes stepless speed regulation and independent power output for the front and rear wheels, delivering strong traction and stable driving performance under complex working conditions including steep slopes, soft foundations and uneven road surfaces. This configuration effectively avoids slipping and insufficient compaction problems caused by insufficient power output, ensuring uniform compaction density and flat pavement quality. Meanwhile, the hydraulic control system features sensitive response, simple operation and low failure rate, greatly reducing the operating difficulty for drivers and improving overall construction efficiency.
In terms of power configuration, the machine is fully equipped with a Weichai WP6G190 diesel engine that meets China Stage III emission standards, the mainstream reliable power unit for medium-tonnage construction machinery. The engine features inline 6-cylinder turbocharged technology, with a rated power of 140kW, realizing strong low-speed torque output and sufficient power reserve to adapt to long-term high-intensity construction operations. Different from high-emission power units, the China Stage III compliant Weichai engine eliminates complex post-processing structures, with lower fuel consumption, less exhaust emission and stronger environmental compliance. It can stably operate in harsh environments such as high temperature, high altitude and dusty construction sites, featuring outstanding durability and wide working adaptability.
As a core 18-ton compaction equipment of Luoyang Lutong, the LTD718H has excellent comprehensive compaction performance. Its professional vibration system supports dual frequency and dual amplitude adjustment (28Hz/35Hz), which can flexibly adapt to different compaction requirements of road base, subgrade and surface layers. The standard working mass of 18 tons, matched with optimized drum structure and static linear pressure, ensures high compaction efficiency and uniform paving effect, fully meeting the construction standards of highways, municipal roads, airport runways, reservoir dams and industrial sites.
