Daily Maintenance
Before each shift, inspect engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and fuel levels for adequacy and absence of leaks. Check tire pressure or drum s
urfaces for damage, clean dirt and debris from the frame and cooling system, and verify that lights, horns, and safety devices function correctly.
Lubricate key pivots and bearings as required.
Engine Maintenance
Regularly replace engine oil and oil filters per the recommended working hours. Clean or replace air filters frequently, especially in dusty
environments. Inspect and adjust fan belt tension, monitor cooling system performance to avoid overheating, and use only specified diesel
fuel to ensure stable power output.
Hydraulic System Care
Maintain proper hydraulic fluid levels and use the recommended grade; change hydraulic oil and filters at scheduled intervals. Inspect hoses,
seals, and connections for leaks or wear. Contaminated hydraulic fluid can damage pumps and valves, so regular fluid inspection is essential.
Vibration Drum Maintenance
The vibration drum is a core component. Replace vibration chamber oil periodically, check for abnormal noise or overheating, and ensure proper
lubrication of drum bearings. Address seal leaks promptly to prevent lubricant loss and internal wear.
Electrical System Inspection
Check battery terminals for corrosion and ensure tight connections. Test starting systems, wiring harnesses, and control switches for damage
or loose contacts. Keep the electrical compartment clean and dry to avoid short circuits.
Long-Term Storage
If storing the roller for an extended period, drain accumulated water from fuel and hydraulic tanks, fully lubricate all components, and store in
a dry, ventilated area. Disconnect the battery, cover the machine to prevent dust and rust, and run the engine briefly at regular intervals to
maintain component condition.
