Luoyang Lutong Heavy Industry has officially introduced the LTP1016H full-hydraulic pneumatic tyre roller, a versatile compaction machine built for highways, municipal roads, airports and other infrastructure projects. This model delivers adjustable working weight from 10 tons to 16 tons,
combining strong power, stable compaction and operator-friendly design to meet modern construction demands.
At the core of the LTP1016H is a Cummins 4BT3.9 diesel engine rated at 75kW, offering low fuel consumption, low noise and high reliability. The
full-hydraulic transmission system provides smooth, stepless speed control, with a maximum travel speed of 14 km/h and a gradeability of up to
30%, ensuring strong performance on uneven sites and steep slopes. Its compact layout and low center of gravity enhance stability during long-
hour operation.
The machine features a 4-front and 5-rear tyre configuration with a compaction width of 2,280 mm, ideal for sealing asphalt surfaces and
achieving uniform density across base and subbase layers. The flexible tyre design minimizes surface damage while improving compactness and
smoothness, making it especially suitable for high-grade highway finish work. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver responsive stopping, while automatic
tyre pressure adjustment maintains consistent compaction quality.
The LTP1016H comes with a spacious, air-conditioned cab that reduces vibration and noise, supporting extended shifts with less fatigue. Intuitive controls, clear instrumentation and a streamlined operating layout simplify handling for both experienced and new operators. With a minimum
turning radius of 7,500 mm, the roller maneuvers well in confined work zones such as intersections and roadside areas.
Engineered for cohesive and non-cohesive materials including asphalt concrete, stabilized soil, gravel and sand mixtures, the LTP1016H supports multiple construction scenarios.
